Manchester City have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen has been an integral figure in David Moyes’s side this campaign, netting twelve times while providing eleven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions, and he has a long-term contract with the Hammers running until 2025.

According to Italy-based journalist Ekrem Konur, Manchester City are said to be ‘seriously interested’ in signing West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen despite Pep Guardiola’s wealth of options in the attacking area of the pitch.

Man City’s title rivals Liverpool have also been linked with Bowen, who is sure to be wanted at the London Stadium with West Ham aiming for a top four finish in the Premier League.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men also interested in bringing in an understudy for Mohamed Salah next season, the competition for Jarrod Bowen could well be hotly-contested.

The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Hull City in January 2020, and has gone on to score 21 goals and provide 21 assists in 89 appearances for the club.
