Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that the club could make ‘one final attempt’ to renew star forward’s contract with talks over transfer.
Pep Guardiola confirmed last week that Leroy Sane, who has been a long-term target for the German champions had rejected multiple offers of a new deal with City. Talks between both parties have been ongoing for well over a year now,
According to the Telegraph, the Citizens could make one final attempt to persuade Leroy Sane to sign a new contract if talks with Bayern Munich over a fee continue to stall.
Bayern has thus far refused to raise its offer of €40 million for the 24-year-old winger, whose contract expires after the 2020/21 season.
In reaction to the claim shared on Twitter by Man City xtra, Manchester City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions

We’re over it, we know he wants to go, accept it— Dominic Madden (@dommddn) June 24, 2020
I hope he doesn’t leave and Pep plays him more. He’ll be a big loss to City 💙🙏— Lisa Hartley (@LisaHar95997355) June 24, 2020
“In City you will have to work harder, compete among colleagues for position, we don’t depend on a single player unlike some other clubs.” claimed one fan.
Another tweet said:”Nope!!!! Let him go, man has made up mind to leave. He doesn’t want to work hard on Pep standard & not willing to fight for his place like Sterling, Bernardo, Foden, Jesus, Zinchenko, Mahrez & Cancelo. City is about constantly fighting for a spot which Sane is not willing to do.”
