Kevin De Bruyne’s future plans will be discussed with Manchester City in the coming weeks, following statements from Pep Guardiola confirming that the Belgian international will not be leaving the club this summer. De Bruyne has also expressed interest in exploring options abroad, particularly in Saudi Arabia, due to the lucrative wages offered in the region as he nears the end of his career.

The 33-year-old midfielder emphasized the importance of considering financial opportunities in the twilight of his playing days, acknowledging the significant amounts of money available in other leagues. Manchester City is now looking to clarify De Bruyne’s intentions and expectations, as his current contract expires next summer. Talks with the playmaker are scheduled for when he returns to Manchester in August.

De Bruyne will not participate in Manchester City’s pre-season tour in the United States, focusing on preparations for the FA Community Shield against Manchester United. Guardiola is expected to have a limited squad for the tour, with some players on extended holidays after the European Championships. The club will also welcome Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic for their upcoming friendly match against AC Milan.
