Manchester City target who had £25m release clause now signs new contract in blow for Hugo Viana

Hugo Viana will be tasked with overhauling a creaking Manchester City side in his first summer as Director of Football once the campaign is over.

The man from Portugal will replace Txiki Begiristain in helping Pep Guardiola bring top talent to the Etihad Stadium – with the main objective to find someone to replace Kevin De Bruyne, which is much easier said than done.
