On July 10th, we covered claims from Argentina that Manchester City plan to exercise Maher Carrizo’s €16m release clause and send him on loan to River Plate for 18 months.
The 19-year-old’s contract with Vélez Sarsfield expires in December 2026 and it’s unlikely he will end up at River Plate.
That’s according to journalist César Luis Merlo, who discuss Manchester City could sign the forward and send him to Valencia for Picado TV.
