Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is reportedly set to move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr this summer, despite hopes of him signing a new contract. The club recently secured new deals with goalkeepers Stefan Ortega and Scott Carson, but Ederson’s future remains uncertain. Ortega was initially linked with a summer exit but eventually signed a contract extension until 2026.

If Ederson does leave Manchester City for Al-Nassr, it could potentially make Ortega the new first-choice goalkeeper for Pep Guardiola’s team. Ederson’s potential move to Al-Nassr would see him join former City player Aymeric Laporte and Cristiano Ronaldo at the club. Despite the links to Al-Nassr, Ederson has a successful history with Manchester City, having won six Premier League titles with the team since his arrival in 2017.

The transfer of Ederson to Al-Nassr depends on both clubs agreeing on a fee, with Manchester City looking for around €50 million for the goalkeeper. The club may also need to enter the transfer market to find a replacement for Ederson. Additionally, Manchester City are preparing for other potential exits, with Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker, and Matheus Nunes all linked with moves to the Saudi Pro League.
