Manchester City have been linked with Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, with reports surprising those at the Etihad Stadium. However, a report from a Manchester City insider has cautioned against getting too hopeful about Branthwaite moving to City this summer.
Although City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain likes Branthwaite, it is noted that the player’s agent is close to Jason Wilcox at Manchester United and has been intending to take him there for months. City’s transfer focus is currently on areas such as central midfield, right-wing, and possibly a new left-back, with primary targets including Bruno Guimaraes and Joshua Kimmich. There are also rumors of possible outgoings, with Matheus Nunes linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and Ederson reportedly receiving a significant contract offer from Al Nassr.
