João Cancelo’s future remains uncertain, with Manchester City not keen to keep him.
The right-back has been out on loan at Bayern Munich and Barcelona for the past 18 months, after a disagreement with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
During the course of last season, the 30-year-old and Barca officials, including their president Joan Laporta, publicly talked about the possibility of extending their association.
