Manchester City player doesn’t want to offend anyone – Diplomatic approach to transfer

Manchester City’s Claudio Echeverri has been on loan at Bayern Leverkusen since last summer and played 240 minutes eight matches this season.

Earlier this month, Bild reported Pep Guardiola is unhappy with the youngster’s lack of minutes at the German club. They also stated Manchester City could recall him in January and send him on loan elsewhere.

Three days ago, Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes said they haven’t made a decision yet to terminate Echeverri’s loan.

On Wednesday, journalist Germán García Grova reported the 19-year-old wants to return to River Plate in the winter market. However, Manchester City are standing in his way as they want him to continue in Europe.
