Manchester City official expected at Gremio – Excitement over club collaboration

Brazilian outlet Zero Hora reports that Grêmio will soon host a well-known figure from Manchester City soon. However, that won’t be a player or coach. 

The Grêmio Arena will welcome John Ledwidge, the Etihad Stadium groundsman, in early 2026.

Ledwidge is set to spend time in Porto Alegre training the stadium’s staff after the installation of a new pitch, scheduled for the start of next year.
