Manchester City are looking to strengthen their squad this summer, with RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo being a potential target. The Etihad Stadium bosses have been working towards securing additional recruits for Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad as they prepare for the upcoming pre-season. While they have only finalised a deal for Savio so far, the club is keen on adding more depth, especially in the center of the park.

Dani Olmo’s impressive performances for Spain at the European Championships have attracted interest from various clubs. The midfielder’s release clause has been extended due to Spain’s progression to the final, giving Manchester City and other suitors more time to consider their options. The club had explored a deal for Olmo previously during the 2023 transfer window, but ended up signing Matheus Nunes instead.

In addition to Olmo, Manchester City are also considering a move for Bruno Guimaraes this summer. The Brazilian midfielder is a high priority target for the club, but Newcastle United’s steep asking price remains a hurdle. Despite their interest in other midfielders, City remain determined to reinforce their squad and cover key positions in preparation for the upcoming season.
