Manchester City group reach agreement to sign Tottenham player – Arrives in summer, 5 year deal

Tottenham Hotspur have now reached a full agreement with Esporte Clube Bahi, part of the Manchester City group of clubs, for Alejo Véliz. However, the striker will only move in the middle of the year.

Reports from Brazil say the deal is done. Bahia and Tottenham agreed terms, and the Argentine forward will sign a five-year contract. Presumably that would be directly with Bahia, but it wouldn’t be unheard of for him to sign with another member of the Manchester City group of clubs.

Savinho is a good example of such transfers not always being as they seem. The Brazilian was assigned to Troyes but never made an appearance for them, moving to Manchester City in 2024. Tottenham have since tried to sign him.
