Manchester City fans have been reacting to a report that the club are in advanced talks with Barcelona over a deal that could take Nelson Semedo to the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola is keen to bring Semedo to the Etihad and is willing to part with money and offer his former club Cancelo in order to reach a deal.
According to Sport, Barcelona are considering the offer of Cancelo plus cash for Portuguese teammate Semedo having initially set an asking price of £39m.
City will hope Semedo can put up sterner competition to current right-back Kyle Walker, who turns 30 next month, than Cancelo managed.
Semedo (26) joined the La Liga giants in 2017 from Benfica, leaving him with two years remaining on his initial five-year contract. The Portuguese defender is yet to renew his terms at the Camp Nou.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by City Chief on Twitter, City fans have flocked to share their opinions on the transfer rumours.
I think Cancelo is better than Semedo.

Isn’t Semedo always injured ??? Strange deal this one, typical city.

like why? Cancelo is fine City needs to give him more time before they decide on his future as a City player.
