England central defender John Stones provided a positive update on his injury and fitness status amidst concerns raised by recent images. Stones has played a key role in England’s journey to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, starting in all matches so far.
After a challenging season with Manchester City, Stones has performed solidly during the summer tournament and gained confidence from his performances. However, there were worries about his fitness when he was spotted with heavy strapping on his knee before the upcoming crucial game against Switzerland.
Stones reassured the media that he is fit and the strapping made it look worse than the actual situation.
