Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is facing interest from Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, who are reportedly willing to offer him £900,000 per week. Despite this interest, Ederson is expected to travel to the United States for City’s pre-season tour. The 30-year-old has been with Manchester City since 2017, winning over a dozen trophies and making 332 appearances across seven competitions.

Ederson missed City’s last two matches of the 2023/24 season due to a facial fracture, but is set to extend his contract with the club. The goalkeeper has faced competition from Stefan Ortega, who impressed during the season and recently signed a new contract until 2026. City is preparing to counteract Al-Nassr’s interest by offering Ederson a significant wage increase and hope to secure his services for the upcoming campaign.

The Etihad executives are willing to offer Ederson a ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ contract extension proposal with a near-75 percent pay increase. City is also holding out for a £50 million fee if Ederson is determined to leave for the Middle East. Ederson and Ortega are expected to feature in the pre-season tour of the USA, along with other first-team players like Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish.
