Manchester City and Manchester United to go head to head to try and sign Angers’ left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.
City had opened negotiations with the teenager considered to be one of the most sought after prospects in France. Despite accelerating their efforts, nothing had seemingly developed since then.
According to French publication FootMercato, both Man City and United have tabled ‘firm offers’ to both his agent and Angers.
The report says Ait-Nouri has returned to France to assess his options after visiting both clubs to look around their facilities and speak to people at the club.
Atlético de Madrid, PSG, Monaco, Leicester, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton are reportedly also monitoring the youngster, who played 17 times in the curtailed Ligue 1 season and is under contract until 2023.
