West Ham United boss David Moyes is said to feel as though he can get Kalvin Phillips back to the levels he was showing before he moved to Man City.
Phillips is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium in the coming days, after once again struggling for minutes.
Phillips, 28, has warmed the bench once again this campaign, with Pep Guardiola preferring the likes of Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Rico Lewis and John Stones in midfield.
Opportunities have been seriously scarce for £45 million signing Phillips, and the narrative has long been that he will depart in this window.
