Manchester City have learned the eight opponents they will face in the new Champions League format, which will no longer feature a traditional group stage. The teams have been divided into a league table, with each team playing eight different opponents just once, resulting in a more challenging campaign for City. The fixtures include matches against Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Club Brugge, Feyenoord, Sparta Prague, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon, and Slovan Bratislava.
The Champions League schedule for City includes matches on specific dates, but the order of opponents has yet to be announced. The new format allows teams to compete directly for a place in the knockout stages, with the top eight automatically qualifying for the last 16. Teams finishing from 9th to 24th will have a second chance to advance through a knockout round play-off, while only the bottom eight teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
