Man City were strongly interested in stunning swoop for Gianluigi Donnarumma’s former PSG teammate

After weeks of speculation around their goalkeeping situation, Manchester City eventually sealed the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain.

Previously, only seven players have played for both City and PSG; Sylvain Distin, Nicolas Anelka, Ali Benarbia, George Weah, Nadia Nadim, Alioune Toure and Djamel Belmadi.
