Manchester City is reportedly interested in Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Georgiy Sudakov, with other English clubs also monitoring him. The Ukrainian international is expected to attract offers during the upcoming transfer window, with his potential transfer fee speculated to be around £60m, similar to what Chelsea paid for Mykhailo Mudryk.

In addition to Manchester City, other Premier League teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Brighton have also been linked with Sudakov. There is a growing belief that City may need to strengthen their midfield, especially with rumors of Kevin De Bruyne potentially leaving when his contract expires next summer. Sudakov has been identified as a potential replacement for the Belgian midfielder.

The possibility of De Bruyne moving to the United States to join MLS team San Diego FC has further fueled speculation about City’s need for a new midfielder. If De Bruyne leaves, Sudakov could be a key target for City to pursue in order to reinforce their squad for the 2024/2025 season.
