Manchester City are looking into the possibility of signing Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze if Kevin De Bruyne decides to move to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Ittihad. The move is said to be dependent on whether De Bruyne accepts a lucrative contract offer from the Middle Eastern club.

The Premier League champions are reportedly considering activating Eze’s release clause, which is set at £68m, in order to secure his services. Although other teams like Tottenham and Arsenal are also interested in Eze, City are believed to be the player’s preferred destination if they make a formal offer.

While there are conflicting reports about De Bruyne’s potential move to Al-Ittihad, it is suggested that his teammate Ederson is closer to agreeing to the transfer. City value Ederson at around €50m and are looking to maximize their return on his sale as he has less than two years left on his contract and is keen to leave.
