Manchester City are not pursuing Arsenal forward Chido Obi Martin, despite his impressive goal-scoring record for the Gunners’ Under 18s. The 16-year-old rejected a “big proposal” to stay at Arsenal and is now free to join another team. Although Manchester United is believed to be a possible destination for Obi Martin, other clubs such as Newcastle United, Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Monaco are also interested in signing him.

While Obi Martin may not be joining Manchester City, the club is still actively recruiting players for their academy this summer. Ryan McAidoo has reportedly completed his move from Chelsea, and it seems that City have also secured the signing of England Under 16 captain Harrison Miles. Additionally, City is looking to approach Xavier Parker from West Ham’s youth setup, as they continue to strengthen their youth team for the future.

In addition to Obi Martin, Manchester City is focused on bringing in talented young players to their academy for the upcoming season. While the 16-year-old forward may not be joining them, City has successfully signed Ryan McAidoo and appears to be close to securing Harrison Miles and Xavier Parker. This recruitment strategy highlights City’s commitment to developing young talent and building a strong foundation for success in the future.
