Manchester City is said to be interested in signing Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, but they would need to spend a significant amount of money to acquire him. Despite being long-term admirers of the England international, City, along with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, have been keeping tabs on Saka. Arsenal is reportedly considering offering Saka another contract after the European Championships to prevent potential suitors from making a move for him.

If City were to pursue Saka, they would have to meet Arsenal’s asking price of €200m. However, it is unlikely that the Gunners will sell the young winger as Saka has shown loyalty to the club since making his senior debut in 2018. City has looked at other forward options, such as Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, but the arrival of Savio from Troyes may negate the need for additional wide players in the squad.

While City may hold Saka in high regard, it is unlikely that they will pursue a transfer for him given his loyalty to Arsenal. The club has other options in mind for strengthening their squad in wide areas, and Saka’s hefty price tag makes him an unlikely target for the Premier League champions.
