Manchester City have shown interest in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who has not yet signed a contract extension with the Spanish club. With less than a year left on his current deal, Lunin could potentially leave this summer. Manchester City are in need of a replacement for Ederson, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, and Lunin could be brought in as his backup.

Aside from Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are also pursuing Lunin. Arsenal are looking to replace Aaron Ramsdale, but may prefer Espanyol’s Joan Garcia. Liverpool would only be interested in Lunin if Caoimhin Kelleher is sold. Chelsea, who have a connection with Real Madrid through Kepa Arrizabalaga, are likely to pose the biggest threat in the race for Lunin’s signature. It is still uncertain which club will ultimately win the race for the goalkeeper.

Lunin, who has been capped 13 times by Ukraine, could bring valuable experience and depth to any team that signs him. With significant interest from top clubs in the Premier League, including two other contenders aside from Manchester City, it remains to be seen where Lunin will end up in the upcoming transfer window.
