Manchester City made history by winning the Premier League four times in a row in the 2023/24 season, and they are now aiming for a fifth title in the 2024/25 season. Additionally, they are looking to reclaim the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup titles. This season could potentially be Pep Guardiola’s last in charge of the team. City’s hearing for 115 charges is also underway, adding to the off-field drama.
In terms of statistics, Josko Gvardiol leads in goals scored, while Ederson, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, and Manuel Akanji have the most appearances. Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva have the fewest yellow cards. City is currently 20th in the new Champions League league phase table and still have several games to play in order to qualify for the knock-out stages.
