Gary Neville does not believe that Liverpool or Chelsea will be competing for the top spot in the Premier League at the end of the campaign. He sees Arsenal as the only team with a genuine chance of challenging Manchester City for the title. Neville pointed out Liverpool’s defensive issues and believes they are still short, while also dismissing Chelsea’s chances.
Liverpool’s victory over Chelsea put them back in first place, ahead of Manchester City. Arsenal’s defeat to Bournemouth created a three-point gap between them and City. Despite Rodri’s injury leading to punters backing Arsenal for the title, City are now seen as favorites to win the Premier League once again with odds as short as 5/4.
Liverpool, despite being in first place, are still viewed as outsiders for the title with odds of 11/4, while Chelsea’s defeat at Anfield has led to their odds lengthening considerably to over 20/1. Manchester City is considered the frontrunners for the title, with Arsenal now seen as second favorites after their recent defeat.
