Images of Manchester City’s rumored home kit for the 2025/26 season have surfaced online, revealing a sky blue design with a darker-colored sash. Overall, most supporters seem pleased with the new kit design by Puma, with comments ranging from “super amazing” to “cool” and “beautiful.” However, there are a few dissenting opinions, with some fans expressing a preference for previous kit designs.
The inclusion of a sash on the home kit is a departure from tradition, as it has typically been featured on City’s away and third kits. Various color combinations of sashes have been used in the past, such as red and blue, white and red, and red and black. The release date for the 2025/26 home shirt has not been officially announced, but based on past seasons, it is expected to be unveiled in May.
Manchester City’s partnership with Puma is set to continue until 2029, with a £65m a year contract signed in 2019. Fans can look forward to seeing more innovative designs from Puma each season, with the possibility of sashes being featured on future kits as well.
