Man City are in need of another centre-back after Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol went down with serious injuries. Abdukodir Khusanov and Max Alleyne have stepped into the heart of City’s defence for their past two matches against Brighton and Exeter City and performed admirably. The need for City to sign an experienced centre-back is clear to see. Especially considering the packed schedule City will have to navigate over the second half of this season.
