Manchester City is reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, with hopes that one of his close friends will persuade him to move to the Etihad. Olmo has faced City four times in the Champions League, with injuries causing him to miss four additional matches against the club. Despite this, he has made a strong impression in games against City, such as picking up an assist in a 6-3 defeat for Leipzig. City is competing with Barcelona for Olmo’s signature, and reports suggest that City could use Josko Gvardiol’s close relationship with Olmo to facilitate a deal.
