Manchester City are facing another injury setback after midfielder Rodri was ruled out for the rest of the season. With other midfield options available, including Ilkay Gundogan and Mateo Kovacic, Pep Guardiola is considering signing a replacement in the January transfer window. Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci has emerged as a potential target, with City reportedly willing to pay up to £30m for the 23-year-old.
Ricci, who impressed during his loan spell at Torino before making a permanent move, has shown his defensive skills as well as his ability to contribute in attack. With City looking to strengthen their squad in January, Ricci could be a valuable addition to the team, offering both defensive solidity and an attacking threat. Negotiations with Torino could be crucial in securing a deal for the promising midfielder.
