Now, City have made a bid to sign another young talent, PSV Eindhoven’s 19-year-old striker Jason van Duiven, who has shown promise with his goal-scoring abilities at youth level.
Van Duiven has attracted City’s attention with his performances for PSV’s youth sides, although he struggled to score during a loan spell at Almere City last season. If City secures a deal for the teenager, they will need to ensure he gets the right development opportunities to continue improving his game.
