Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are growing increasingly confident of winning the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham this summer.
Bellingham, who continues to be linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion, is under contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2025 as rumours swirl surrounding his future.
The reigning Premier League champions have long been viewed among the leading contenders to sign the England international.
City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all expressed interest in the 19-year-old, who has become one of the most coveted players in Europe.
According to ESPN, City have made Bellingham one of their top targets this summer and are increasing confident the will win the race for his signature.
The report states that Real are still in the race for Bellingham, but he is currently City’s priority transfer target.
