It’s safe to say that Jack Grealish’s career at Manchester City looks like it is in an uncertain place. Considering how important Grealish can to be how City play, one would assume that sooner rather than later, he will be handed regular starting opportunities.
But injuries have played a primary role in the Manchester City winger having a forgettable season so far where he has made a mere four Premier League starts. Last month, Grealish’s rumoured transfer to Tottenham Hotspur as well as Aston Villa was ruled out amongst other such links and it was assured that he is valued at City.
But Grealish’s contract at Manchester City expires in 2026 and considering he turns 30 in September next year, valid questions would be asked about his future. Interestingly, Pep Guardiola discussed Grealish in midfield as a tactical experiment that he could test out due to the “control” and “vision” he brings to the table in the final third.
