Manchester City have a track record when it comes to signing players from La Liga. In fact, since their Abu Dhabi takeover back in 2008, some of the biggest players in City’s recent history have come over from the Spanish league such as Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and David Silva to name a few.
A more recent acquisition from La Liga saw City sign Rodri – who won the 2024 Ballon d’Or – from Atletico Madrid and have since gone on to see the midfielder become a crucial figure for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Now though, the Manchester club have set their sights on two players currently making a name for themselves in Spain……
