It has been reported that Manchester City are prepared to sell one of the young players on their books.
In recent seasons, a key part of Manchester City’s summer business has emerged from the youngsters they have sold.
Pep Guardiola’s men have offloaded top young talents like Cole Palmer, James Trafford, Romeo Lavia and Gavin Bazunu in the last few years.
In most cases, their decisions to let go of such players have not affected the first-team’s success.
In addition, the young players in question have also been handed the opportunity to play senior football elsewhere and in some cases, they have gone on to become big names.
Cole Palmer is the standout example, while Romeo Lavia earned a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2023. But a youngster Manchester City are ready to sell is 21-year-old Liam Delap, according to The Sun.
