Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in Norwegian starlet Jens Petter Hauge.
Hauge’s impressive performance for Bodø/Glimt in their Europa League qualifier against Milan has seen the winger emerging as a transfer target for some European Giants.
Speaking on the ‘Here We Go’ podcast, the ever reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that City were scouting and showed interest in winger Jens Petter Hauge (20), prior to his move to AC Milan this summer.
Fabrizio Romano caims City were considering a move, but wanted to let the talented youngster continue playing for FK Bodø/Glimt for another year or two.
Jens Petter Hauge is a right-footed left-winger who usually operates as an inside forward. Under Kjetil Knutsen, the 20-year old has flourished for Bodø/Glimt while playing in the 4-3-3 formation. Though he plays as a left-winger predominantly, Hauge is also capable of playing in any position across the attacking front.
The 20-year old is extremely good in small spaces and possesses great dribbling skills. Hauge is also quick and has good close control, which makes him a nightmare to defend for the opposition.
Following the departure of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich and the departure of David Silva, 20 year-old Norwegian forward could have been a good long-term target for the club.
