Manchester City fans have been camparing Ferran Torres and Leroy Sane on a post on Twitter as he made an excellent debut for Spain in the UEFA Nations League clash with Germany in Stuttgart.
The City’s new live-wire winger provided a superb cross deep into added time to earn La Roja a 1-1 draw.
Torres switched wings with former City star Jesus Navas towards the end of the first-half and looked equally comfortable in possession.
City fans and Pep Guardiola must have been impressed with the 20 year-old’s work-rate, excellent pressing, pace and trickery on the left and right flank.
In reaction to Ferran Torres’ performance on a post on Twitter by City Chief, Man City fans who couldn’t help but get excited over their new signing have been comparing him to Leroy Sane.
Both players deserve some respect.— mamady↕️🇰🇪 (@Duncan_Mamadii) September 4, 2020
Why to compare both players..sane is still much better player than torres..was out with a serious injury..dnt expect him to star in every game..torres will take time to adjust…— Rohit Bharara (@rohbharara) September 4, 2020
Imagine how he will improve in city— Mokowz (@rmkerosi) September 4, 2020
it’s more about ferran that it is Sane, what are you immediately rushing to talk about Sane but the point is our current new player doing well / better in that match— JD ☯️ #FreeMessi (@JDGrphcs) September 4, 2020
Yes Sane was more dangerous but that was mainly due to the position he was playing in. Also you can’t compare then both when ones 4 years older than the other— W🎒 (@wodukoya1) September 4, 2020
It’s hard to judge off one game but he looks more like Pep player than Sane. Same even showed in the game why we would all get frustrated with him. Still believe Sane can be world class if he improves a few things but happy with got Torres— City Fan (@ManCity_FanView) September 4, 2020
Ferran Torres will be better than Leroy Sané— JT (@jaidevtripathy) September 3, 2020
