Liverpool no longer want to sign ‘gifted’ player who has actually been waiting for Man City move

For the first time since 2020, Manchester City will head into the upcoming season with the goal of dethroning Liverpool as Premier League champions.

During the 2020/2021 campaign, Pep Guardiola’s men reclaimed their status as top dogs while the Reds finished 17 points behind them in third place.

However, with Liverpool signing Florian Wirtz among plenty of big names this summer, it seems like their intention is to build a dynasty similar to City in recent years.
