According to a new report, Manchester City’s kit designers are set to use a combination of three colours for their upcoming 2024/25 home shirt. This will be the latest release by Puma, who have had a successful run with previous editions since taking over from Nike as Manchester City’s lead manufacturer for training and matchday wear.

The current 2023/24 home edition was inspired by the Etihad Stadium, celebrating the club’s 20th anniversary at the iconic arena. Puma drew reference to the club’s maiden season at the Etihad, designing a shirt that was inspired by the jersey worn during the inaugural season at the City of Manchester City Stadium, with accents and details marking the 20th anniversary.

The new report reveals that Puma will use the club’s traditional sky blue colour, combined with ‘some navy and turquoise accents’ for the upcoming 2024/25 home shirt. Footy Headlines has also revealed an image pairing the shade with the Manchester City crest.

It has also been reported that for the first time in Manchester City’s history, the club will release a fourth kit next season, designed in collaboration with Manchester music legend Noel Gallagher. City are currently competing on three fronts this season, challenging in the Premier League title battle and the FA Cup fifth round, as well as the UEFA Champions League knock-out stages.

The UEFA Champions League knock-out stages have also gotten off to a perfect start for the reigning Champions of Europe, as Pep Guardiola’s players defeated FC Copenhagen in Denmark in the first-leg via a 1-3 scoreline.
