Manchester City defeated Watford 2-1 in the Carabao Cup to progress to the fourth round. Despite a strong performance, City’s dropped level in the closing stages disappointed manager Pep Guardiola. Tom Ince scored a late goal for Watford, but City managed to hold on for the win.
James McAtee impressed in his start for City, showcasing his work rate and defensive efforts. The young talent has had limited playing time this season but made the most of his opportunity against Watford. Fans hope to see McAtee receive more minutes and follow in the footsteps of other emerging stars at City like Phil Foden.
