Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to another update on the future of promising youngster James McAtee.
The versatile 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who was born in Salford, has been in Manchester City’s academy for eight years, having first joined the club in 2013. He is one of the club’s most exciting youth academy talents at present.
Known as the ‘Salford Silva’, the stylish playmaker has drawn comparisons with former City star David Silva and was formerly with Manchester United’s academy.
After switching to City he has continued to impress staff and supporters with his performances prompting interest from a number of Premier League Clubs.
However, it has since been claimed that Manchester City are reluctant to let the youngster depart on a temporary basis.
According to Paul Hirst via the Times, Pep Guardiola will consider loan offers for James McAtee next month, but only if the club in question plays a similar style of play to Man City.
The teenager recently made his Premier League debut in a 3-0 win over Everton and has been training with the first-team squad for a while now.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
It's our only option really.
