Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update on Lionel Messi’s potential move to the Etihad.
Messi, who has been with Barca for nearly two decades has been linked with a move to City, PSG, Inter Milan and Juventus, But it’s the premier league club who are seen as major favourites by reliable Spanish journalists.
Despite the 33-year-old expressing a desire to leave Camp Nou, Barcelona remain desperate to keep their talismanic captain and it remains unclear whether the Catalan giants are prepared to negotiate a deal with any one of a number of interested parties.
Barcelona were planning on making a serious effort to try and keep their talisman at the Camp Nou as the first-team squad return to pre-season training next week.
But According to several reports via Daily Mail, Messi has refused to take part in the squad’s COVID-19 testing scheme on Sunday giving Manchester City another boost in their pursuit of the Argentine.
Ronald Koeman and the rest of the squad were pictured arriving at the complex on Sunday morning but there was no sign of Messi at his allotted time or for an hour afterwards as the fallout between player and club continues.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, Many City supporters have flocked to expressed their thoughts and opinions on this latest update.
