Micah Hamilton has opened up on the struggles that led to his unforgettable Manchester City debut in the Champions League this week.
The City Academy star was perhaps a shock selection in the starting eleven to face Champions League Group G opponents Red Star Belgrade Wednesday evening. But with little to play for and host of injuries, the 20-year-old was handed his senior debut.
The winger made the most of that debut as well, putting the Blues into the lead with a sensational 19th minute strike from the right wing. He followed that goal up with a solid showing on both flanks as Pep Guardiola’s men took home all three points.
