Ilkay Gundogan has now made a comment which gives a very clear signal about his Manchester City future

The future of Ilkay Gundogan remains something of a mystery at Manchester City.

At the end of June, the German was set to become a free agent until he managed to trigger a one-year extension by reaching a certain amount of appearances.

The Manchester City No.19 then said he expected that development to keep him at the Etihad Stadium, saying: “Nobody has said anything to me so far! My contract got extended another year so obviously that’s what I expect right now.”
