Walker praised Tuchel’s ability to manage big players and achieve results, citing his success at clubs like PSG and Chelsea. Tuchel had previously tried to sign Walker for Bayern Munich in 2023, showing his admiration for the player. This could bode well for Walker’s chances of continuing to play regularly for England under Tuchel’s management.

Since joining Pep Guardiola’s side in 2017, Walker has made 308 appearances for Manchester City and won multiple domestic and European trophies.
