I cried when leaving Man City – I was asked for my shirt number on my way out the door

Nedum Onuoha admits he cried when he left Manchester City for Sunderland. The 39-year-old also says he was asked for his shirt number by Vincent Kompany on his way out the door.

Onuoha moved to Manchester aged five and grew up a City supporter. He played for them from the age of ten, progressing through the academy to make a first-team debut in 2004.
