Manchester City and Arsenal are battling it out on the final day of the season for the Premier League title after a long and gruelling campaign. Liverpool was also in contention but fell out of the race, leaving City and Arsenal as the main contenders. City currently have a two-point advantage over Arsenal and will face West Ham while Arsenal takes on Everton.
For Manchester City to win the title, they simply need to defeat West Ham. Even a draw would be enough if Arsenal fails to win their match. Anything less than a win would be a dangerous result for City. On the other hand, Arsenal can only win the title by defeating Everton and hoping for a slip-up from City. They hold a one-goal advantage on goal difference and could snatch the title in similar fashion to City’s 2012 win over Manchester United.
Given City’s strong form and West Ham’s lack of motivation, it is likely that Manchester City will emerge victorious and win the Premier League title. However, City has a history of making things difficult for themselves and Arsenal could capitalize on any mistakes. The final day of the season is set to be a dramatic conclusion to the campaign with the title hanging in the balance.
