Man City midfield star Rodri had a sensational 2023 but that somehow didn’t earn him any recognition at the FIFA Best Awards – and pundit Janusz Michallik has slammed the fact he was overlooked.
City got good acknowledgment generally at the awards, with Pep Guardiola winning Best Men’s coach and Ederson winning Best Goalkeeper.
Six City players made it into the 2023 FIFPRO World 11 – but inexplicably, there was no inclusion for Rodri.
It was something that left many Man City fans on social media livid, with Rodri having been an absolutely key component in the Treble-winning side of last campaign.
Now, pundit Janusz Michallik has also expressed his dismay…
