Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Valencia are playing hard ball over a fee for winger Ferran Torres, who is reportedly to have a ‘completely closed agreement’ with the Citizens.
Ferran, whose current contract ends in June 2021 is apparently top of Pep Guardiola’s wish list in terms of potential reinforcements in wide attacking positions.
The 20-year-old is widely expected to seal a move to the Etihad this summer, with all parties concerned eager for the deal to go through.
According to Telegraph, Valencia are playing hard ball over a fee for the versatile Spain Under-21 international winger as the Spanish club seek to raise around €80 million (£73m) through player sales.
Ser Deportivos yesterday reported that City and Ferran Torres have a ‘completely closed agreement’, with conversations in ‘advanced’ stage while both Clubs are ‘evaluating options’ over a deal for the Winger.
Report from Marca as relayed by Sport Witness suggests City are considering tabling €35 million alongside central defensive midfielder, Yangel Herrera, as part of its pursuit of the Valencia winger.
Once an agreement is reached between the two clubs, the deal could be made official in the coming weeks, and Torres could be City’s first signing of the summer.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
