Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are enticed by a transfer involving Aston Villa left-back Alex Moreno in the summer.
Alex Moreno, who’s only been in England since January, completed a £13million (Sky Sports) transfer midway through this season from Real Betis to Aston Villa.
The 29-year-old left-back has settled very quickly in a new country and is growing into a key player at Villa Park.

Now, according to Foot Mercato, Manchester City are enticed by a transfer involving Aston Villa left-back Alex Moreno in the summer.
There’s no indication on how much Unai Emery’s side would ask, but it’s suggested that Villa will not let Moreno leave without a fight and could demand a very sizable profit on him already.
However, the report claims they will not be able to block the move with Pep Guardiola desperate to reunite with the player who was in the Barcelona academy during his time at the helm.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
